In this 5 pc. doll, Matryoshka artist Pushkina depicts the famous portrait "At The Window" by Russian artist Constantine Vasiliev (1942-1976). This is an incredible rendition of this painting, and is done in watercolor. Vasiliev's paintings became a symbol of reawakening Russian spiritual/mystical identity toward the end of the Soviet empire. This doll was inspired as a memoir of that critical time.
